Village of Bansko
One of Bulgaria's best kept secrets, the historic town of Bansko is situated in the South-Western part of Bulgaria, in the foothills of the beautiful Mount Pirin. Bansko Taverna - There are many traditional Taverna in Bansko, especially around the old town area. A large variety of meat dishes, salads and also vegetarian options cooked in the Bulgarian style to suit all tastes.
St. Trinity Church - The Holy Trinity Temple, a great historical and cultural landmark of Bansko, was built in 1835 by Local Masters. The two faced clock in the bell tower has been measuring the time accurately for over 150 years now.
Ice Skating - Bansko has a brand new Ice Rink just a few minutes walk from Predela. Ice skate hire available at a good price. Facilities for beginner skaters or children also available.
Bowling - A little further beyond the Ice Rink is a Ten Pin Bowling Alley. They also serve alcoholic and soft drinks at the bar inside.
