Bansko Burton Fun Park
Every year Bansko has an extrodinary fun park containing an array of jumps, rails, boxes and ramps set up for the Burton Amateur Tour, the biggest snowboard competition in Europe for new talent. The last time the tour was in Bansko was for the 2007/08 season and they will surely be back.
The tour attracts up-and-coming, young snowboarders looking to show off their skills in order to gain sponsorship. The event pumps out music into the fresh mountain air, pushing riders to show the best tricks they have. The atmosphere is ecstatic and certainly a world-class event.
Bansko’s fun park is designed by Erich Bellini, a famous snow park designer at Gecko Constructions. The fun park is open to public use when there are no competitions taking place and is maintained regularly throughout the season.
